We can’t decide what is more impressive about Casa Resor – the wonderful interior or the fantastic setting, with a walled, mature garden leading down to the seafront in the small waterside village of Lepetane. The ferry that plies the narrowest part of the bay docks at this village, ensuring easy connections around the whole Boka, or Gulf or Kotor, as well as evoking a modern-day link to an ancient tradition of seafaring. Casa Resor makes a perfect base from which to explore whole area, whether by boat from the large pier at the foot of the garden, or by making the short drive to Kotor or Tivat, or to one of the many delightful hamlets that dot the seafront.

The house itself has been meticulously restored, creating a light and airy living space with unusually high ceilings and big windows. Each room has a sea view and all rooms on the upper floors have their own balconies. There are gardens to the front and back of the house, with banana and orange trees and traditional Mediterranean plants. There are a couple of spots for outside dining, but our favorite is under the teak pergola in the garden, from which you can keep a watchful eye on the boats coming and going across the bay as generations of seafarers will have done before you.

Kitchen and other facilities
Fully equipped modern kitchen with granite work-tops, open plan breakfast bar, dining table with chairs, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, extractor fan & electric hobs. Direct access to front and back gardens. First floor utility room with washer/dryer and half bathroom.Easily accessible dry basement for storage. All rooms have air-conditioning.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
BEDROOMS ONE, TWO & THREE: double bed, balcony, a/c, ceiling fan, sea view. BEDROOMS FOUR: 5 single beds - perfect as a children's room. BATHROOM ONE: Ensuite to 1st bedroom, double shower. BATHROOM TWO: Ensuite to 2nd bedroom with shower cabinet. BATHROOM 3: Ensuite to 3rd bedroom, shower and Jacuzzi tub. BATHROOM 4: Ensuite to 4th bedroom, shower cabinet.

Living Rooms
To the left of the front entry hall, the living/dining room is large and spacious (a massive 45 square meters!). One end contains a wrap-around sofa, coffee table and Satellite TV, and another area has a an expandable dining table and 10 chairs. Located off the living/dining room, but separated by French doors, the 20 square meter den has a large sofa, easy chair and ottoman.

Swimming
The property is located right on the sea and has a large pier for swimming, boating, and sunbathing. Numerous other beaches are located within short walking or driving distance.

Outside
The fantastic front garden (177sqm) runs from house to the sea is enclosed by a wrought iron gate and stone walls and features: pergola with teak dining table and 6 chairs, attractive built-in stone barbeque with chimney and antique stone sink; beautiful landscaping with banana and orange tree. The elevated rear garden (200 sqm) with recessed lighting extends the length of the house. Surrounded by stone walls, it includes 2 sitting areas with tables, outside shower, stone fountain, outdoor shower, beautiful landscaping, and grapefruit trees and shrubs.

Children’s amenities
Casa Resor includes a portable crib.

Before you book
Casa Resor is situated about 300m from the ferry that plies the narrow straights of the bay. While most guests find this delightfully atmospheric, be aware that the ferry does run 24 hrs.

Amenities
Tivat and the rest of area have plenty of restaurants, banks with ATM's, supermarkets, other shopping. While bus, ferry, and taxi transportation is very accessible, a car is still desirable (the house has plenty of parking).

Airport
Tivat airport is less than 15 minutes drive. Dubrovnik airport is circa 1 hour 15 mins.
