Kotor city walls
Kotor is a city of youth, art, tradition, architecture; it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If we began to list all the things that make this ancient city instantly recognizable, we would need a pretty thick book.
The list would include something for every taste, beginning with the museums packed with valuable relics of the stormy maritime history of the town, and covering the large number of ancient churches and building from various periods. You can taste the true spirit of this stunningly beautiful coastal city during the traditional festivals and carnivals - a truly unforgettable experience. We mustn't forget to mention too, the great night life of Kotor, with its quality restaurants, cafes and discothcques. Whatever else you do, one of the most striking things in the town, and something which leaves a vivid trace in the memory of every visitor are the famous city walls. They have protected the city for many centuries and extend over 4 kilometers in length, and up to a height of 260 meters, and are topped by the fortress of Saint Ivan (John). Come with us for a walk around the walls of Kotor.
