The complete silence, the peaceful mending of fishing nets and the almost inaudible chatter of the few local people in this ancient settlement were broken just for a brief while only by us passing through accompanied by the curious looks of the smiling local people and probably the riddle "Where are they going at this time of day?".
We left Rose with a strange feeling as if we had for a moment interrupted something very important and delicate.
