On the 26th April the traditional tourism fair (METUBES) opened in Budva, the thirteenth time it has been held. At the fair the tourist attractions of the Montenegro coast for the impending season were represented.
The hunting, fishing, sport, camping and recreation equipment fair was also held on the same site. What particularly attracted attention was the fact that this year a boat show also took place.
The boat show was organized by "Adriatic Fairs" from Budva and "Profektus" from Split.
The boat show was held in the harbor in front of the old town of Budva where marquees were erected right beside the sea to serve as temporary exhibition halls.
Yachts were moored by the jetties which were specially brought from Split for the occasion.
Among the vessels on show were some very attractive yachts, as for example the luxury yacht "Azimuth"
28 exhibitors from Serbia & Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland took part in the fair "The Budva Boat Show" and another 50 sailing firms from other countries in Europe, from Canada, Japan and USA were indirectly involved.
