
After a long while your reporters have managed to get together again. We have come from different parts of the world to the same place, in order to attempt once again to bring Montenegro closer to you in the most beautiful way we can. And so, cheerful and happy, ready for adventure, we set off on our longest journey so far...
Our starting point was the most northerly place on the Montenegro coast, Igalo,

from where we left at about 8 o'clock and followed a route through Herceg Novi,

Morinj,

Risan,

Perast where for your benefit we visited some spots we haven't recorded before. The Roman mosaics in Risan,

The church of Our Lady of Skrpjel,


exhibits from the church museum, and the beautiful church of Oravac built on the edge of a cliff with a view over the whole of the Bay of Kotor.



Then we had a quick look at Dobrota,

the old town of Kotor and then we slowly drove through Grbalj and called in at the beach of Trsteno, which has only recently become known,


and then visited Jaz.

We carried on towards Budva, which this summer is full up and simply bubbling with life. It is the same in Becici, Milocer, St. Stefan


and Petrovac


where our small expedition had its first rest. We took it easy for a while, while enjoying the view of the beach at Petrovac and nearby Lucica.

After a coffee and a mineral water

we hurried along a little and passed Haj Nehaj, Sutomore, Susanj,



Bar and Dobre Vode.



We called in at Bar and visited the famous olive tree which is over 200 years old, and whose trunk is more than 10 meters in circumference.
